AOE-COE Investigations Identify False Worker Claims
When a claimant files for workers’ compensation, you need to conduct a thorough investigation of the accident. Kelley Alliance investigators will verify that the accident happened while the claimant was performing his normal job functions. We’ll also investigate whether the claimant was following the company’s safety guideline, and we’ll determine whether the accident was a result of gross negligence or horseplay.
Kelley Alliance investigators are experienced with AOE/COE cases that include but are not limited to the following:
- Lunch Hour
- Work-Related Travel
- Off-Premises
- Field Workers
- Work-rule Violations
Our operatives will investigate the accident scene and the equipment involved in the accident. We’ll verify the safety of the equipment and make sure the workplace meets OSHA standards.
Our investigators also conduct interviews and take recorded statements from the claimant, the employer, and any witnesses. We’ll verify the claimant’s injuries and obtain related medical documents.
At Kelley Alliance, we follow up with all leads. We work closely with your staff to ensure a thorough investigation, and we look into every issue that could affect the claim.
